People are messy, complicated, and are full of nuance and contradiction. I've seen immense good come from those whose hearts are plagued by racism, and immense evil come from those who've only had the best of intentions.

My point is that the dividing line between good and evil runs through every human heart, and isn't limited to one political party. It seems to me that you are losing sight of this fact even though you claim otherwise since all of your friends which were conservative were removed from your life.

You should remain friends with people who you feel are racist and bigoted. Since right-wing individuals have a worldview that is much different from your own, they are going to define bigotry and racism differently from how you define it. By cutting out people who offend you, you are going to put yourself in an echo-chamber and will end up becoming a close-minded person that is blind to the biases and the possible misconceptions of their worldview.
