Fantastic article. I personally think that the greatest use of bitcoin is as an inflation-resistant store of value and for getting around fees that currently plague fiat currencies such as currency exchange and cross-border transference.

I disagree with you however that currencies such as Bitcoin have no effect on people's morality or self-improvement propensity. Fiat currencies incentivize the individual to spend now rather than later due to inflation. This encourages short-term thinking, impulsiveness, and hedonism which runs contrary to improving ones self and moral virtue.

Crypto meanwhile financially incentivizes one to play the long-game and to delay gratification due to its deflationary nature. Delaying gratification and exercising self-restraint is absolutely crucial for self-improvement and being a moral individual.
